Universities in Senegal, Mali and Ivory Coast are working together on e-health education
The University of Bamako in Mali, Cheikh Anta Diop of Dakar in Senegal and University of Cocody of Abidjan in Côte d’Ivoire are working to together to launch an inter-university diploma in e-health.
This was announced by the Pierre Fabre Foundation at the third edition of the eHealth Observatory Conference in the South, held at its headquarters in Lavaur in the Tarn region. La France.
“Noting the need for training in e-health adapted to the contexts of the South, the University of Bamako has proposed the establishment of an interuniversity degree in e-health focused on innovation and practice on the ground to address priority health issues,” says the foundation.
It added that it has fully funded a laboratory for innovation and digital health and it will “be created to provide an identified academic and professional structure to develop training and research in the field of e-health to the Faculty of Medicine and Odontostomatology (FMOS) of Bamako.”
