Medic West Africa is back!
Informa Exhibitions, the region’s leading healthcare exhibitions organiser, has announced that Medic West Africa will be returning to the Eko Hotel Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria, from 10 – 12 October 2018. As well as being the only healthcare trade event in the region that has the support of numerous trade associations as well as government agencies such as the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Health, Healthcare Federation of Nigeria, and the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration Control, more than 280 regional and international exhibitors from 25 countries will be present at the 2018 edition of the show.
With hundreds of the latest healthcare and laboratory products and services on display throughout the three-day showcase, the 4,200 expected attendees – ranging from dealers and distributers, buyers, laboratory specialists and healthcare professionals – will have the opportunity to stay up-to-date with contemporary innovations and new technologies in the healthcare market.
According to the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission, a myriad of investment opportunities exists across the healthcare value chain in Nigeria. Meanwhile, on the first day, On the opening day, Medic West Africa will host the Healthcare Financing Conference in partnership with the Healthcare Federation of Nigeria focusing on policy reform, guidelines, project announcements and legislation within public-private partnerships in West Africa’s healthcare systems.
This year, the flagship Leaders in Healthcare Conference, held in association with the Federal Ministry of Health on the second day of the event, will focus on Universal Health Coverage and the impact of the government-led Economic Recovery and Growth Plan for the healthcare sector in Nigeria.
In addition to this, attendees at the Quality in Healthcare Conference will hear from key experts from across the region on how to innovate, collaborate and ultimately drive quality throughout healthcare facilities, not only in Nigeria, but also throughout West Africa. Held in association with the Society for Quality in Healthcare in Nigeria, this conference offers 5 CPD credits.
