From April 15 – 20, Senegal’s capital city of Dakar will be hosting the 7th Pan African Malaria Conference. The opening ceremony will be chaired by the president of Senegal, Macky Sall. Online registration can be done here.
At the landmark conference celebrating 20 years since the initial establishment of the Multilateral Initiative on Malaria (MIM) by TDR and partners, scientists will present research findings on new malaria control tools and approaches, join panel discussions, and network with African and global health leaders, practitioners and policymakers at the upcoming MIM conference.
In a statement, WHO’s TDR said its Director John Reeder will be present early in the week to join in discussions, meet with experts and leaders in the field, and be at the TDR booth to connect with scientists, collaborators and all interested in advancing the malaria research agenda.
